For much of my adult life, I worked hard to support others through their challenges — yet when I entered menopause, I found myself unprepared for the profound changes that followed. I felt like a deer in the headlights — confused by what was happening to my body, my mind, and even my sense of self.

Answers were difficult to find. The information available was fragmented and often clinical, with little acknowledgment of the emotional and spiritual impact menopause can bring. So, I began researching for myself — learning everything I could about the connection between our hormones, our mental health, and our inner resilience.

 

That journey opened my eyes to a huge gap in menopause education and emotional support. Women were being told to “just get through it,” when what they really needed was understanding, guidance, and practical tools to reclaim their confidence and wellbeing.

 

Today, as a qualified Counsellor specialising in holistic counselling, and including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and menopause-specific training, I help women navigate this powerful life transition with compassion and clarity.
